NewsJanuary, 2007Aaron Travers is the recent recipient of a commission from the Fromm Music Foundation, to be completed by 2008. The piece, a concerto for guitar and sinfonietta ensemble, is to be premiered by guitarist Nathan Fischer, who founded and currently runs the Alexandria Guitar Festival in Alexandria, Virginia.In the summer of 2007, Aaron will be traveling to the island of Ischia, in the Bay of Naples, for a 4 week residency at the Walton Estate.
